How to Clean a Mattress

When trying to decide how to clean a mattress, the easiest way would be if you had a steam cleaner. A lot of us do not have a steam cleaner which makes it extremely difficult to learn how to clean a mattress. Another way to learn how to clean a mattress is with a more traditional method. This is a more traditional method on how to clean a mattress if with soap and water. You could try using mild dish soap, like Dawn brand. Take the dish soap and dilute it with warm water. Try not to use too much water, this could soak deep inside the mattress and take an extremely long time to dry. Using dish soap is usually easy to rinse off the surface without getting the mattress too wet. It is also nice using dish soap because it can cut grease and kill some odor while cutting a lot of the rest of the stain. Cutting grease is nice because that means it can break through any sweat inside the mattress. Then you could let the mattress dry by opening a lot of windows or bring the mattress outside. Bringing the mattress outside would be better because it will dry a lot faster as well as air the mattress out. You could also use a hair dryer to dry the wet spots on the bed. This will work extremely fast if the wetness is not too deep inside the mattress. You could always just replace your mattress, but this seems a bit extreme in my opinion. Having to do a little scrubbing does not have to be the end of the world to learn how to clean a mattress. If some of these stains you need to scrub are urine stains then in the future you could try getting special sheets or placing a big plastic bag under the sheets to protect the mattress from getting stained again.
