What Are Vacuum Cleaner Scent Tabs?

Vacuum cleaner scent tabs are a great way to multitask and do two things at once without even really trying. Let them freshen the air in the home while doing something you would normally do anyway—vacuuming. Scent tabs are generally used by simply putting them in the new vacuum bag when replacing the old one. They can also be used with bagless vacuums. This is done by putting the scent tabs in the compartment where the dirt ends up. Rather than the musty and stale odor that often begins to come out of vacuum exhausts after they've been used for a while, the room will be filled with a clean and pleasant smell every time it runs.

Some people recommend a different method for using vacuum scent tabs that is supposed to spread the scent more effectively. Instead of putting it in the bag or dirt canister, try crushing a tablet and sprinkling it on the floor then vacuuming it up, before moving on to the rest of the room. This should work with any brand of scent tabs made for bagged vacuums, as the tablet still ends up in the same place and does the same job. Crushing it makes more pieces of the tablet to move around and spread the scent.

Vacuum scent tabs are a great product for anyone, but they're especially useful for people who have kids or pets. Scent tabs can help cover up unwanted odors from spills, pet accidents, and many other types of everyday messes. It isn't always possible to get to these things and clean them up immediately. Even if the accident is noticed right away, the smell is already destined to be in the carpet for a while. Vacuum cleaner scent tablets can help to mask it in the meantime.

Scent tablets are also a nice alternative to other scented products on the market. A number of these items pose a safety hazard when little ones are around. Candles and the recently popular scented wax products can be especially dangerous. There's no need to have an open flame or hot wax in a home with small children or pets. The smoke from candles can also bother some people. Avoid the risks of a burn injury or a fire by using vacuum scent tabs instead. They give the same pleasant effect, and the scent will linger for a longer period of time.

A large number of manufacturers make and sell vacuum cleaner scent tabs. Many popular vacuum companies now have their own line of scent tabs with many different aromas to choose from: It isn't necessary to buy the same brand as the vacuum cleaner. The tabs are available in a wide range of scents suitable for any occasion, season, or taste. For the environmentalists and people who are prone to allergies, there are also some scent tabs made with entirely natural or non-toxic ingredients. They generally come in packs of ten to twenty. Scent tabs are very affordable, especially when considering they can last through many uses of the vacuum.
