Sharp Vacuum Cleaners

Sharp is a popular name in the consumer appliances, electronics and entertainment market with a variety of products that often earn high satisfaction ratings from consumers. Sharp vacuum cleaners are no different. You can find an affordable Sharp vacuum, either a bagged upright or canister model, or even a bagless upright model, perfect for allergy sufferers.

One of the biggest claims to vacuum cleaner fame, when it comes to the Sharp brand, is its excellent agitator capabilities. The job of an agitator is to loosen dirt and debris so that the vacuum can suction up as much as possible. When tested against other brands, the Sharp outperformed others, doing a great job removing debris from even the highest traffic areas where dirt was stamped down into the fibers.

Quiet is not what you would expect from a vacuum cleaner, but there are several models of Sharp vacuum cleaners that boast a noise reduction of at least 15% when compared to other brands. Sharp calls this feature "Library Quiet" which can be found on models like the EC-S5380 bagless upright with cyclonic technology or the bagged EC-TU5306 upright with electronic touch controls. Other bagged and bagless Sharp models are also equipped with this "Library Quiet" feature.

The motor on Sharp vacuum cleaners is something to boast about with 12 amps on most models. Competitors typically have up to 10 amps; Sharp has more suction than they do! The twin fan motor adds more power, and is a major reason why Sharp vacuums do such a great job in picking up dirt and debris. Another great feature is the protective motor bypass system which protects damage to the motor as well as the fan when you accidentally vacuum up hard objects like coins or small toys.

Allergy and asthma sufferers can use virtually any Sharp vacuum cleaner, because they all employ some type of filtration system to reduce the pollen and allergens in the air. During the vacuuming process, dirt and dust gets stirred up in the air, but with a filtration system, once the dirt gets sucked up, it cannot escape, thanks to the filtration system. Some models use HEPA filter technology, while others have multi-layer filters – both work hard to ensure the air you breathe while vacuuming is clean.

Versatility is Sharp vacuum cleaners' middle name thanks to their multi-surface cleaning capability. Some vacuum brands do not work well on hard floor surfaces, but it should be realistic to expect that most homes have both carpet and hard floors and need a cleaning option for both of them. Instead of purchasing two different machines, most Sharp models have a height adjustment option which allows you to transition from carpet to hard floors without problems. The EC-TU5111 is just one of many models that offer this flexibility of cleaning debris from one floor surface to another.

Sharp vacuum cleaners also have the standard assortment of tools and accessories to make your cleaning job easier. The detachable hose with telescoping wands extend your cleaning reach under and over furniture. The crevice tool ferrets out dirt and debris from tight, hard to reach places, while the upholstery tool picks up pet hair and dirt off furniture.
Overall, Sharp vacuum cleaners have a lot going for them, including their price. For all their versatility and handy features, Sharp prices their vacuums competitively so that the average consumer can afford them – and that is music to many ears.
