Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner Tools and Accessories

The Rainbow vacuum is in a league of its own in the world of vacuum cleaners. It uses water as a type of filtration system to eliminate flying dust particles, thereby greatly reducing allergens released in the air. With the addition of a HEPA filter, you get double the protection. This powerful machine has different Rainbow vacuum cleaner tools and accessories that serve to enhance its performance.

Typical Accompanying Accessories

Most Rainbow vacuums come with some standard tools and accessories to make your job a lot easier when cleaning. For instance, one of the most versatile and handy tools in the Rainbow arsenal is the power nozzle. This part attaches to the metal wand of the vacuum and has its own motor for cleaning carpets, so not only do you have the powerful motor of the Rainbow but also additional power in this nozzle. It is also height adjustable for different carpet naps and floor surfaces.

Five additional standard Rainbow vacuum cleaner tools and accessories include a crevice tool, dusting brush, floor brush, upholstery tool, and wall brush all housed within a caddy that attaches to the vacuum. The floor, dusting and wall brush are great for removing dust and debris without damaging surfaces while the upholstery tool is exceptional at removing dust and pet hair from furniture. Of course, the crevice tool is designed for tight places like between seat cushions, corners, and baseboards.

Cool Extras

The Rainbowmate is a special accessory that attaches to the long metal wand of the vacuum. It is smaller than the traditional power nozzle head that comes with the machine, but it too has its own internal motor. This attachment is the perfect size for vacuuming stairs, furniture upholstery, and even the carpets and upholstery in your vehicle.

Machine versatility is readily apparent in the Aquamate, one of the most popular Rainbow vacuum cleaner tools and accessories available. Using the power of water as well as a special cleaning formula, the Aquamate cleans, revives, freshens, and safeguards your carpets. This little cleaning machine attaches quite easily to the long metal wand of the vacuum and serves like your own mini-carpet shampooer.

The Squeegee attachment for the Rainbow vacuum brings the cleaning power of water to hard floor surfaces like linoleum or tile. There is a sponge on one side that can be used to scrub dirt off the floors while the squeegee blade helps eliminate excess water. The brush part of this Squeegee is designed to scrub the grout between tile to loosen dirt and debris, boosting this attachment's cleaning power.

Fragrance packs are available so you can add favorite smells to the water of your Rainbow vacuum, sort of an aromatherapy treat. It's a great way to freshen the air in your home. Of course, you can use the fragrances to deodorize couch cushions and pillows, too, using the Rainbow crush bag. A variety of carpet cleaners and deodorizers are great accompaniments to the Aquamate and Squeegee as well.

Additional Rainbow vacuum cleaner tools and accessories include a sprayer and even a larger water basin for bigger cleaning jobs. The Rainbow sprayer attaches to the metal vacuum wand and is perfect for misting house plants. The larger water basin means you do not have to empty the reservoir as often during cleaning jobs, particularly more involved ones such as those using the Aquamate or Squeegee attachment.

The Rainbow vacuum cleaner is an investment but, it pays off in spades with its powerful motor and allergy-friendly cleaning. Add the Rainbow vacuum cleaner tools and accessories and you have a household appliance that makes cleaning much easier.
