Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner Tools and Accessories

Panasonic is a versatile consumer electronics company that manufactures a number of products such as televisions, cameras, computer equipment and yes, even vacuum cleaners. The company's reputation for solid performance, quality, affordability, and versatility is readily apparent in their vacuum cleaners with the variety of Panasonic vacuum cleaner tools and accessories available.

Four basic vacuum cleaner lines are available with the Panasonic – the upright, canister, commercial, and platinum models. Each line of vacuums and even individual models may offer different tools and accessories with some being interchangeable and some unique to a particular machine.

For small living spaces, the canister vacuum model is optimal because it takes up less space than the upright, platinum, and commercial models. Even its compact size does not preclude it from having several Panasonic vacuum cleaner tools and accessories in its arsenal. For instance, most canister models have a filtration system which helps remove dust and allergens. Therefore, one of the accessories that must be replaced at times is the filter to ensure clean operation. The crevice tool and dusting tool often comes with the vacuum helps remove dirt and debris from tight or hard to reach places. As some canister models are bagless, the dirt cup which collects vacuumed dirt and debris is a replaceable accessory, too.

The majority of the platinum and commercial vacuum models are similar to the upright, with each one varying in motor capacity and other features. Like the canister, there are some bagless models which means there is a dirt cup or container that must be emptied and cleaned on occasion and therefore it's a replaceable accessory.

Many Panasonic vacuum cleaners have HEPA filter technology. This filter cuts down on the allergens released in the air during vacuuming by trapping them. The HEPA filter is one of the most purchased Panasonic vacuum cleaner tools and accessories because it needs replacing occasionally to ensure a vacuum's optimal performance.

There are several tools and accessories incorporated on the upright vacuum models in addition to some of the platinum and commercial ones as well. The crevice tool, stretch hose, telescoping wand, and dusting brush boost the vacuum's versatility. The stretch hose increases your reach as well as the telescoping wand. With these two accessories, you can suck up dust and dirt in those hard to reach places such as the top of bookcases, ceiling fans, and even draperies. The crevice tool gets into tight spaces, between couch seat cushions, and even in corners and along baseboards. The dusting brush picks up the dirt that accumulates on furniture and other items so you don't have to dust separately.

All four Panasonic vacuum cleaner lines have models which use bags to collect dirt and debris. In addition to the HEPA filters, these replaceable bags are the most commonly purchased Panasonic vacuum cleaner tools and accessories. Some bags are made from plain thick paper while others may have HEPA filter technology built in. A few vacuum cleaner models in the Panasonic line-up even use reusable cloth bags.

As Panasonic offers both high-end and budget vacuum cleaner models with a variety of Panasonic vacuum cleaner tools and accessories, you can shop for what you can afford. No matter what model you select, it will have several useful tools and accessories to make your cleaning job easier and faster.
