Filter Queen 99A Majestic Canister Vacuum Cleaner (Reconditioned) Product Review

The manufacture of this vacuum, HMI Industries, Inc. was founded in 1928 as Sanitation Systems, a Chicago-based company. Within two years, they had sold enough to make their venture the largest organization of its type in all of Chicago. In 1930, the company name was changed to Health-Mor Sanitation Systems, and by the end of the decade, they had acquired a vacuum cleaner patent for a machine that used centrifugal force to generate suction and then trap dirt. Their first machine was the Health-Mor model 200, later renamed the Filter Queen 200.

At first glance, the Filter Queen 99A Majestic Canister Vacuum Cleaner may look like something out a of a Sci-Fi movie – maybe you see R2D2 when you look at its round body and blue coloring – but, its odd design is what makes it such a unique and powerful vacuum cleaner.

The Filter Queen Majestic 99A Canister Vacuum Cleaner is a high-end vacuum cleaner specially designed to be able to lift and dust particles from any surface like carpets, bare floors, furniture, stairs, walls, even upholstery. Costing around $800 dollars, Filter Queen fans will swear it’s worth every penny.

The Filter Queen Majestic 99A Canister Vacuum Cleaner has a very unique filtration system. Other than cleaning dust and other particles out of carpets, it actually releases fresh air right back into the room, doubling as a carpet deodorizer as well. It’s great for offices or homes that have a lot of traffic. This is why the Filter Queen Majestic 99A Canister Vacuum Cleaner boasts not only an improved cleaning ability, it has a BETTER than HEPA filtration system, meaning it doesn’t really allow dust to escape back into the room from a bag either.

It’s a very good surface cleaner. The Filter Queen Majestic 99A is equipped with special cone filters that make it a massive force against common cleaning obstacles including hard-to-remove pet hair, stubborn dirt, and other common allergens that get embedded into carpet or furniture which can be hard to remove with a conventional carpet cleaner.

In addition to all of these special filtration efforts, the Filter Queen Majestic 99A Canister Vacuum Cleaner also has accessories perfect for it. The most recent model’s attachments are made of very strong plastic that is incredibly durable because it has stainless steel over it. It also includes a very soft dusting brush, a large floor brush for hardwood floors, a power head, a long thin attachment designed for cracks in couch cushions and other tight spaces. All of these brushes are made from horse hair so they’re incredibly soft and durable. These attachments have 3-year warranties.

The vacuum itself is nearly indestructible. Even its wheels are made from the same stuff that’s used to make bowling balls to make sure it vacuum actually lasts a lifetime as promised by its lifetime warranty. All in all, the Filter Queen Majestic 99A Canister Vacuum Cleaner is perfect for both the home and a workplace.
