Bissell Vacuum Cleaners

A Bissell Vacuum Cleaner is one of the best vacuum cleaners that a family or individual can buy for their home. The company has been around for over a hundred years and is always making changes and improvements to their products. You can’t go wrong when you use a Bissell Vacuum Cleaner, or one of their many products.

History

The Bissell Vacuum got its start in the middle of the 1800s. Anna and Melville Bissell were the owners of a crockery store in Michigan. As Anna became more and more frustrated at the level of sawdust that was always in her carpet because of their livelihood, she appealed to her husband for help. He soon came up with a carpet sweeping device that helped solve the carpet issues. It worked. His carpet sweeper soon became known to others who wanted to know where they could get their own.

In 1876 the Bissell Carpet Sweeper was first given its own patent. However, it was not until 1883 that an actual manufacturing plant was built, also in Michigan. The company was a success, continually building on and improving their products. In 1889, Melvin Bissell died, and his wife Anna took over the company. She was the first female CEO of a corporate company, which was a huge step in the late 1880s.

The Bissell Company has maintained its success with their multiple sweeping devices, from vacuums, to hard-wood sweepers, to their many cleaning products. They remain one of the most popular companies of today for vacuum cleaners.

There are many products available from Bissell. Each one is uniquely designed to provide the highest power and cleaning action.

Upright Vacuum

The Upright Vacuum is one of the more popular vacuums. You may only need the simplest model, The Momentum Vacuum, which is also one of the least expensive models. It provides powerful cleaning action with their patented DirtLifter cleaning system and a HEPA media filter. For more powerful action, consider the PowerForce Turbo vacuum. This bagless vacuum is guaranteed to capture almost 100% of all dust mites in the home, as well as pollens and other allergens.

For simple and quick cleaning action, choose the Easy Vac Vacuum. At only 10 pounds, this lightweight vacuum still uses powerful brushes to quickly and effortlessly clean up your carpet.

Deep Cleaners

Deep cleaners are yet another specialty of the Bissell Company. Deep cleaners use high powered brushes and water to shampoo your carpets and clean them completely. You can start out simple with the QuickSteamer MultiSurface. This low-cost deep cleaner is lightweight, and very simple to use. For a more powerful cleaner, the PROdry Steam Cleaner boasts drying time of only 30 minutes for those busy days. It is also great for use on area rugs as well as large carpets. For major power-cleaning, go for the ProHeat 2X Select Pet-perfect for pet owners. Twelve rows of power brushes lift up dirt and grime left from everyday use, pet dirt and pet dander. The built-in heating system is guaranteed to heat up the water- up to 25 degrees hotter than other steam cleaners.

The Bissell Vacuum Cleaners are one of the best product lines on the market today. With everything from vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, spot cleaners, cleaning products and much more, customers will easily find the cleaner they need for their specific purpose.
