How to Buy

Check out our line of Dyson vacuum cleaners to see how cleaning up pet hair can be a breeze - and they never lose suction!

The Best Vacuum Cleaner for Pet Lovers

One of the biggest frustrations for pet owners is the accumulation of pet hair on upholstery and deep in the carpet. The Dyson vacuum company had the pet owner in mind to solve this very dilemma when they designed the Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner. The four Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner models include the DC 14 Telescope Reach, the DC 17 Absolute Animal, the DC 25, and the D16 Animal handheld vacuum cleaner.

All Dyson Animal vacuum cleaners feature Root Cyclone technology developed by Dyson to ensure constant suction of the vacuum during use. Air spins within the vacuum’s bin at an extremely high speed, causing all dirt and dust to be forced to the bottom. This means that pet hair won’t clog in the vacuum. The Dyson vacuum cleaner doesn’t lose suction because the airflow cannot be obstructed. Another nice feature about the Dyson vacuum cleaners is that the bin is clear, so all the pet hair and dirt that is sucked up from the floor or furniture can be seen to prove its effectiveness.

Because pet hair has a tendency to hide deep within the carpet, most Dyson Animal vacuum cleaners feature a brushbar with rotating bristles to remove dirt and pet hair more effectively from the carpet fibers. When cleaning bare floors or delicate carpeting, the brushbar on the Dyson Animal vacuums can be conveniently turned off with the touch of a button.

Pet owners know that hair and dirt is found in more places than just the living room floor. When pet hair collects in hard-to-reach places like on the stairs, in the car, or furniture, ordinary vacuum cleaners are either ineffective or inconvenient to use. A mini turbine head found on most Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner makes pet hair removal both easy and effective. The telescope reach wand extends about 17 feet from the vacuum and makes cleaning high places like a flight of stairs even easier. Gone are the days of moving the vacuum multiple times in order to reach every stair.

Pet owners don’t need to rearrange furniture anymore just to vacuum beneath a low couch or table. Normal vacuums can’t fit under such areas, but a low reach floor tool on the Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner makes vacuuming in these places possible.

Dyson Animal vacuums are bagless, so the extra cost and hassle of buying and changing out dusty vacuum bags are eliminated. Dyson Animals use clear bins for collection of dirt and pet hair and are easily emptied with just a touch of a button. The dust comes out the bottom of the cyclone or bin in a hygienic manner.

Dyson Animal vacuum cleaners are also certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America to be asthma and allergy friendly. The HEPA filter is made to last a lifetime and traps microscopic allergens.

Other features of most Dyson Animal vacuums include on-board tool and accessory storage, ergonomic carry handles, and auto-adjusting height. Depending on the pet owner’s needs, each Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner model includes different features. One Dyson Animal, the DC 16, is handheld and includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The DC 25 is made to be extra lightweight and is unique because of the Dyson Ball technology. The motor of the DC 25 is actually situated in the ball for complete maneuverability of the vacuum across the floor and around obstacles.

With all of the innovative features and options available from the Dyson line of vacuums, there is a Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner for any pet owner.
